Do you need a spunky senior dog in your life?? Come meet Peggy!Peggy arrived at FVHA as a stray. Although we are unsure of how she does with kids, cats, and other dogs, our adoption counselors are happy to provide information on slow introductions and setting everyone up for success. During her time here at the shelter, Peggy has had a dental cleaning and full tooth extraction! She will need to be on soft foods for the remainder of her life. She might be 10-years-old but she doesn't let that slow her down a bit! She is as spry and fun-loving as ever. We have an open adoption process, and our goal is to get to know potential adopters on a personal level and best match them with a new companion. You do not need an appointment to view our adoptable animals, we welcome visitors anytime during our viewing hours. In order to best serve you, please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to closing to meet with an Adoption Counselor and ensure adequate time to visit with our adoptable animals.
