Just a few weeks ago, "Papi" was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), a condition that has left him unable to walk or even take care of his basic needs. But here's where his story takes a turn towards hope and inspiration: When his devoted owner learned about his diagnosis on April 8, 2024, she didn't hesitate for a moment. She knew that Papi deserved every chance at a happy, healthy life. Despite facing financial challenges, she drove him to Mexico for the life-saving surgery he desperately needed, a surgery she couldn't afford in the USA.
