I`m sure you can guess how this girl got her name...Sweet Pea is an exuberantly friendly Great Pyrenees looking for someone she can spoil with her wagging tail. Sweet Pea arrived to the shelter as a stray therefore what we know about her has come by experience. Sweet Pea is not overly fond of walking on a leash, but doesn`t mind being picked up to go places! Sweet Pea is affectionate towards other dogs as she came in with her sisters. She loves to snuggle onto our lap and give kisses. Great Pyrenees are known for their fondness of roaming so it would be best for her to have a fenced yard and to have an eye kept on her in case she gets a wild idea!Please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12p & 2p-5:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Complete an adoption application online to be pre-approved for adoption. If you do not own your home, bring consent from the property owner to have a dog on the property. As always, if you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption. Adoption fees: 6m and younger $250, 7m-5y $200, 6y-10y $150, 11y and older $100. Watch for adoption specials!!
